Deck Description

I decided I would try to make a modern worth infect deck, and to me, the main problem was aggression. So, I stocked this deck to be as deadly as possible, and as fast as possible. Glistener elves and ink moth nexus will get things started immediately, with blight mamba and ichorclaw myr following up on turn 2. The rest of the game is too be a full assault on the opponent(s) with off spells such as groundswell, brute force, colossal might and might of the masses, help every unblocked attacker fill the opponent with poison counters.
If the game drags on, (which is very unlikely) there balduvian rage can be exploited and likely turn an unblocked attacker into a game ender, and fallen ferromancer can slowly poke at the opponent adding poison counter per turn.
Keeping in mind that I tried o make this modern playable, I fitted the sideboard with counters to all the modern decks I could think of. Glaring spotlight counters hex proof Enchant decks and can give my creatures hex proof and unblock able, which is basically an insta-win in this deck. Also to counter Enchant decks is back to nature. Too handle kiki-jiki combos, and once again enchant decks, Spellskite forces kiki-jiki to replicate it or the player to give it all their wonderful enchants. Boom//bust is meant to help deal with Tron and Scrape shift decks by destroying, either target or all lands as needed. In a deck as aggressive as this, it doesn't matter if or if not i have lands so if i have to sacrifice mine to kill theirs, it's worth while. Vandal blast is in the sideboard to handle Artifact decks a Birthing pod, as well as some Tron decks. Tormod's crypt will help, deal with certain cards in Birthing pod decks and will obliterate the chances of any Living end deck. Guttural response is not for any specific deck type, (well, maybe Gifts ungiven), but it counters Cryptic command and almost all counter spells in the format to ensure that the spells are cast without opposition. Sudden shock with its split second is my solution to Melira, (who is in so many standard decks a solution like this was required.) And lastly, Flames of the blood hand is here to counter Healer decks which have also recently been somewhat popular. I know infect decks already counter healer deck by not caring about health total but cards like Felidar sovereign and Serra ascendant are intimidating, and this will lower their health and halt their gain.
