So, let me know what you think about my Borborygmos EDH deck:

seems to have some fun interactions with Borby.

I liked this idea so much, I made my own variant.

Some cool interactions, Grafted Exoskeleton + Borby = Poison Fun!. Also, Creeping Renaissance is a good add to pull back any lands you have in your graveyard. Also, Storm Cauldron. tap 8 lands to cast Borby, return all 8 lands to your hand and pitch them for 24 damage. Not too shabby.

I think the idea is that with the Arbor Elf, you can untap a forest that has a wild growth and get 4 mana.

Urza's block was so broken. So many good cards that just break the game. :)

You might want to seriously consider Abundance. Once you get to 4 or 5 mana, you need to make sure you don't have any dead land draws. You need to keep the pressure on. Abundance allows you to not draw another land the rest of the game.

We know who he likes more. :-)
I did not even know about goblin bombardment. That is definitely the better card for this deck. Nice suggestion.

Also, have you considered scouting trek? Seems interesting.

One thing I noticed doing some sample hands, it's pretty rare that I got an amulet, borby , and a treasure hunt by turn 5. So to increase the odds, I would suggest abundance. It will basically allow to you to fetch a non land every turn. Either that or Ring of 3 wishes.

Oh, that sounds like a good idea. :) Always willing to help a brother out.

Another fantastic addition would be Seige-Gang Commander.

Simple example. Your Deranged Hermit comes back into play form Lifeline at the end of turn. Putting 5 untap triggers on the stack. You then sacrifice a creature before the untap ability resolves, this would be done 5 times at the end of turn for 5 damage. The Deranged Hermit would then come back into play at the next end step, the next turn from Lifeline. Rinse, Repeat.

I would think that you could remove the Junk Divers and 1 Night Soil to add either the Solemn Simulacrums or the Thragtusks. I would also consider reusable sacrificing, moreso that spells. Something like Blasting Station would be perfect. Think about it, if you have multiple creatures coming into play at the end of turn, you get that many triggers of the untap ability. You can spam a bunch of damage at the end of turn using that card.

I do think that Deus of Calamity would be a better add than Hamletback Goliath. Trample and Land Destruction in a 6/6/ fattie. Not too bad.

Other ideas: Darksteel Ingot instead of Alloy Myr, Gruul Signet, Mana Flare, Heartbeat of Spring, New Frontiers, Rites of Flourishing.

How about Solemn Simulacrum, has both an ETB and LTB ability. Thragtusk would be good too.

Maybe consider Elvish Piper, Quicksilver Amulet, or Sneak Attack to cheat the Borborygmos out. You need a way to get him faster since that is your only win condition.

Very true, for the mana cost though, it seems very expensive. I agree, well placed land destruction can own in EDH. I usually like land destruction attached to creatures (Acidic Slime, Avalanche Riders, Deus of Calamity, etc...) or with other benefits (Mwonvuli Acid Moss, Into the Maw of Hell, Reap and Sow, etc...)

I would consider running Hull Breach instead of Rain of Thorns. Seems silly to pay 4 more mana to have the ability to destroy a land in addition to an enchantment and an artifact.
