MY take on budget turns. I feel retreat to emeria is really underrated. It adds an additional win con and makes our ramp spells late game much more powerful, not to mention we can chain turns together and cast ramp spells versus needing the awaken. I also traded for an ulamog recently so I included him.
Ramp into Extra turns. A layer of additional security, in my opinion, is added by adding retreat as it makes our late game much more powerful and less reliant on the extra turns. We have plenty of SB cards for R/G landfall and Atarka red. We also have cards against coco and rally decks along with some great control cards in Gaea's Revenge and secure the wastes.(Real gas with a few land drops and a retreat to emeria.)
