The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

A friend of mine and I constructed this deck. Really fun to play, and still one of my favorite decks to play with. You can quickly get big creatures in the early game (Nightsky Mimic/Nyp Gwyllion/Edge Of Divinity OP) which can either quickly end the game if left unchecked, or give you a good position for late-game. There are also a lot of removal spells which allow you to deal with threats your creatures can't handle.

I've slowly been changing this deck over time - I'm testing out quarantine field (it's like multiple oblivion rings in one card!), and slowly getting more stasis snares instead of devouring light. Actually not a huge fan of shambling vent. I thought it'd make a great addition (I happened to open two), but it's very rare to actually make it a creature and the fact that it enters tapped has held me back a turn before.

How to Play

This deck has performed amazingly for me. There's a lot of synergy between the cards, and overall the deck has some good versatility while remaining consistent.

Performance:
So, the deck puts up a strong fight early game with Nyp Gwyllion, Nightsky Mimic, and Edge of Divinity. These play nicely with all the three drop removal you have for mid to late game.

Deck discussion for BW Lifelink - My Favorite Deck

A few cards your friend might want to consider are:
Pillory of the Sleepless - Locks down a creature and makes that creature's controller lose 1 life a turn.
Blind Hunter - 2/2 with flying and Haunt that drains 2 life as it enters the battlefield and when the haunted creature dies.
Mortifiy - While not as good as Unmake, it works nicely with Blind Hunter's haunt and can destroy enchantments.

If she does want to use these gold cards, I highly suggest adding some dual lands (Scoured Barrens?) and or fetch lands (Terramorphic Expanse or Evolving Wilds). These lands can even help increase the chance of having both colours for Batwing Brume.

If you'd like to take a look, here's my favourite BW deck that I run from time to time:

Though, I don't run the Contaminated Bonds anymore, I can't seem to remember what I put in its place.

might want to check out celestial flare (target player, instead of target creature, could be useful against hexproof plus its 1 cheaper) and gift of orzhova aura enchantment, could be useful.

I'll keep celestial flare in mind for a possible sideboard, no one plays Boggles at my lgs (besides me), so I think I'm safe for now. I really like Gift of Orzhova, but all my creatures either already have flying, or already have lifelink so no matter the target it's a little inefficient in the long run. Thanks for the advice!
