Deck Description

This is a start to a milling deck i am creating. The initial idea was a solid blue but i might add black later.
Some cards are in here just to fill slots. I am trying to get 1 or 2 jace for the deck, so until then i have to do with what i got.

Grindstone + Painter's Servant. Check out my 400 dollar mill deck. It's on my profile and I just got the money to buy it. It rapes face.

not bad, but you should add some flying defense. that's the one thing that has always killed my mill deck, until now, i suggest adding black to it and get Szadek, Lord of Secrets and Oona, Queen of the Fae, you can check it out on my profile.

Add some Font of Mythos and Howling Mines, definitely. They make you and your opponent draw like crazy, which is always a plus in mill decks. Also, some Archive Traps. If your opponent shuffles his deck, its a free drop and makes them discard 15 cards. And if you do add black, look into Nemesis of Reason. Its a 3/7 creature for 5 and it forces a ten card discard with every attack it makes. Add more spells and take all your creatures out except the crabs and maybe a few walls, because if you're milling and you're doing it right, you won't need to worry about creatures hurting you too much. Check out my UB mill deck if you want some ideas

How about Glimpse the unthinkable? YOu will definitly want to splash black in this deck.

Traumitize + Haunting Echos is also a good combo

It really depends what format you want to play... If its just casual I would definitly look into these three cards ^

Isochon's Scepter and exile glimpse the unthinkable and you can cast it every turn. That's 10 cards a turn for 2 mana.

Please take a look at my decks as well I would appreciate it :)

Look @ my new mill deck, this one is way to slow, don't think about grindstone / painters, thats really gay, more of a vintage deck anyway, mines legacy. I reccomend adding black, for mind funerals and glimpse

Ravenous Trap is also useful in this deck's sideboard. Yes, it's black, but if you mill 3 cards in one turn, you play it for free, countering any revive-deck.
Also I'd recommend some unsummon, always useful to get the nagging creatures off the field if you're playing blue.

I'd have to agree about adding some flyers. You've got some solid defense there, but fliers tend to cover your air, and if you can spam the board with cheap fliers it can put pressure on your opponent so they don't focus all their defense on your milling and can't get the initiative. Also, if you can find them, Belltower Sphinxes are a bit pricy mana wise, but absolutely beautiful in a mill deck. Basically if they don't have removal they're not getting past the Sphinx without milling at least six cards, and they fly on top of it.
