i would suggest the following 4X doomed traveler 4X intangible virtue 4X beast within all of these cards allow you to get more tokens on your side except for intangible which gives them +1/+1 and vigilance.
Here are my suggestions: Why have a pilgrim when you can have a bird? Make that 4 birds 2 pilgrims, maybe some spawnwrithes? They're cheap and will accumulate alot of tokens quickly, even though they aren't spirits. You couldn't suffer from an awakening zone, to add more tokens.
