Deck Description

Simple black vampire deck I'm running right now...it seems to work pretty well.

Looks like a pretty solid build, but i do have a couple suggestions. Might want to work in 2 or 3 Blade of the Bloodchief, they give your vamps +2/+2 for every creature that hits the graveyard (even if its your opponents) and only cost 1 to play and 1 to equip. Another good one you might want to work in is Blood Tribute, its cost is a little steep at 6 but it makes your opponent lose half their life (especially crippling against some life gain decks) and if you kick it which, is just tapping a vamp, you gain that much life too. Lastly I would get rid of the Butcher and replace it with Malakir Bloodwitch, flying + pro white, AND damge+life gain on entering play is insane for vamp only decks. So there's my two cents lol, please feel free to check out my decks and give any suggestions as well =)

I myself do not play vampires, but I've played against enough of them to know what makes a good vampire deck. The Pulse Tracker and Blood Seeker are not needed in a vampire deck at all. In place of them I would add Vampire Hexmages and more Kalastria Highborn. With a 2/1 First Striker you can defend and attack with it pretty well, but it's ability to take out a planeswalker is pretty powerful. And the Kalastria is way more useful in terms of HP loss when compared with the Pulse Tracker/Blood Seeker. I also agree with the above, take out the Butcher for another Witch. And also you might want to try out Sigh in Blood instead of Disentomb. The card draw engine might and will probably prove to be a lot more useful.

Thanks for the comments guys, oddly enough its the pulse trackers and blood seekers that seem to make this deck...that early game damage they can do seems to help a lot...and I used to use blood tribute but by the time i could play it i already had my opponents down to less then 10 life and paying 6 mana to deal 5 damage seemed like a waste...but ill play around with it some more and see how things go

I use Sanguine Bond in my Vampire deck, and it works amazingly well. Equip the Nighthawk with Blade of the Bloodchief, and you're pretty much set :)

Interesting, only problem is late game it wont be consistent... More vampire nocturnus or blood line keeper will work or even 4 diabolic tutor to get the cards u want on turn 4. This way any or most mono black decks can be made consistent. Check my deck and comment.

It works similar costs a bit more but i think will be more consistent. i like elixer of immortality(uncommon its crazy) with a deck filled with diabolic tutor... if my plan goes wrong i can bring it out of the deck and shuffle my graveyard back into my library and bide my time.
