Deck Description

This is the first deck I've ever built. It seems decent, but who am I to judge?

Deck discussion for First Deck

well not bad but it seems a bit to inconsistent (wont get the same result each game)

Usually in a deck u have 3 - 4 copies of each card and make the choice of those cards highly planned out. To me this deck doesnt seem to have any particular sort of strategy or tactics behind, just more of an experiment you're trying out with your most loved / favourite / best cards?

Correct me if im wrong here...

But basically before you build a deck, pick a strategy or a theme or a goal that you wish to achieve by using the deck then research different cards on say google or something and see which cards will help you do this.

I hope this helps :)

Plz rate my White Swarm deck, thanks.

Thanks for your feedback.

I'm working on very limited resources (8 packs and a green 30 card starter set), so multiples of some cards was impossible. I was not aware that choosing a specific strategy was a good idea. I was under the impression that a deck crafted to deal with many kinds of threats was a better idea. Thanks for correcting me.

i agree with hi5er the thing is wat u do is mix a single strat and overall protection, this means that while your deck might be built around a single idea like doing damage by discarding or spells or creatures, etc. you also want to make sure that you have the ability to deal with threats in case your deck doesn't work as well as it can at first, this allows for you to survive and then win later, these include enchantment/artifact removal, counter spells, life gain, etc. if you have any questions just message me on xfire, name is the same here as there. i can help you make a decent deck. things to consider when making a deck is amount of money you have to spend on it, type you wish to make, and mainly if you don't have a card seller near you make sure you can purchase them online.

yup elines covered all the rest you need to know...

And although I can see your way of thinking now, it tends to be more of a defensive strategy, that yes, will work in most cases but if for example your threw in some spell removal on an all creature deck you would be screwed... So having a deck ready to counter anything may seem like a good idea but you could be stuck with cards in your hand that dont actually help against the deck you're currently playing!

And I understand about the lack of cards issue... I was the same for a while (I have only been playing since jan...) But just put some money towards a few cars online now and again. The white swarm deck you reviewed cost me 5.96 GBP (Great British Pounds);

So yeah gd luck and happy playing.
