Deck Description

This deck was mainly inspired by the Populate effect. I thought it was a cool idea so I decided to build a deck around it. Scavenging around I ended up coming across a bunch of really cool cards that can all work pretty well with this effect. Since I like to play with cards that not a lot of other people play with, I found stuff like Crusader of Odric, Attended Knight & Stormfront Pegasus. A lot of the time people ask me if they could read a card I played because they have no clue what it does. The inclusion of these cards makes it pretty fairly priced for how consistent and effective it is. This is a really fun deck to play with. I've won a lot of matches with this fairly easily and some going 20 - 0 both times because of how sudden and unexpected it can be. I mean, populating a bunch of tokens to pump a 3 costing card is really fun to do when the opponent doesn't expect it.
I need to add Battle Screech to this deck (http://gatherer.wizards.com/Handlers/Image.ashx?name=Battle%20Screech&type=card&.jpg) but I can't find a place for it currently. Also thanks to all the kind people at reddit for helping my deck.

How to Play

This is a Mono White token deck. How the deck works is mainly through populate. Play down a bunch of cards to summon tokens, populate, and then play Crusader of Odric. Crusader of Odric's power and toughness are equal to the number creatures you control, so if you're able to get a ton of tokens out you can get a really beefy creature for 3 mana. Pump your tokens with Elesh Norn and Phantom General. Heliod gives them Vigilance and so does Intangible Virtue. The reason I'm running 1 of both is because Heliod has pretty good value being a 5/6 for 4 and could spawn me tokens. This deck's main weakness is board wipe. I can't find very many counters to that so if you know you're playing up against someone with boardwipe, just try to set up as quickly as possible. Most of the cards in here have great synergy so I recommend trying to make good combos often. Trust me, it is possible.
