I've always enjoyed Lux Cannon since it was released. This deck is my latest attempt to abuse the Cannon.Coretapper is an all-star in this deck by letting me cast Astral Cornucopia or Everflowing Chalice for free, and then put counters on them to net some extra mana.Coretapper is also great for boosting a Lux Cannon to get a shot off sooner than normal.The main combo in this deck is to get the Cornucopia to 4 counters with Coretapper or some proliferation and have a Filigree Sages on the field. Once in place, you can get infinite colored mana which you can use to untap any artifact as many times as you want. Then you can effectively win by using Lux Cannon to destroy everything on your opponents board, or animate a Blinkmoth, use its ability to pump it for lethal damage, and then swing, or ping with Staff of Nin for the win.Mana Leak is included to protect against threats until I can combo off. Academy Ruins let s me recover any combo piece that has been destroyed, or let me get some extra uses out of Coretapper. Fabricate and Tezzeret both let me tutor for nearly any piece of the combo, and Tezzeret can act as an extra win condition just in case.And finally the sideboard includes counters for the artifact hate likely to be sided in after Game 1.
