Deck Description

A mean Reanimator

How to Play

With all the tutoring, you are *almost* always sure to get what you need, at any given moment - Elixir of Immortality ensures you'll never be milled to death and can quickly turn the game over.
Dark Rit + Entomb + Exhume = Any poison you want - this get killed? Reanimate
Search your Library with Expedition Map - get Urborg or Cabal Coffers for fast mana ramp.
Scion of the Ur-Dragon scemes all your Dragons into GY and after he's done with it, you have Animate Dead.
The only thing which may seem 'out of place' is Baneslayer Angel. It's for protection against heavy hitters and critters.
Mishra, Artificer Prodigy is an atombomb - Turn 1: Dark Rit, Entomb, find Mishra, Exhume, play a Lotus Petal, get the other three, tap 1 Petal, play Elixir of Immortality, get the rest and its almost GG.

Hope you enjoy =)
[Edit] Baneslayer replaced by Griselbrand
[Edit] With the addition of Mishra in play, you won't have any worries about Life (pun not intended) or Land - tutor the Elixir or the Map, then Entomb, Exhume Mishra and boom...
[Edit] Removed 3 Swamps in favor of 4 Lotus Petal for Mishra's combo
[Edit] Added 4 Putrid Imp and removed 4 Extirpate
[Edit] Made it Legacy Legal! Removed 4 Demonic Tutor and 4 Swamps, added 4 x Tormod's Crypt and 4 x Spellskite

Deck discussion for Mishra Reanimator

For anti milling I have always liked gaea's blessing, but that elixir of immortality is really good for that too. I think I would drop teeka's dragon in favor of a borgardan hellkite for a free 5 damage to whatever you want when it comes into play. Good deck, seems fun to pilot as well.

Thanks man =D Gaea's Blessing is also cool. For late games I need the life boost and Bogardan is a house, I'll see if there should be 1 hiding amongst the somewhat dusty binders, hehe

Yeah... I was thinking of adding 2 Forests and 1 Lure to the scenery for a crazy kill and 1 on 1-board-wipe

If you like Green, look up the good ol' "Craw Giant" - he's also a force to be reckoned with

What do you guys think of Mishra? Does it seem solid enough? My wife and I battled last night, and it came out 1 - 0 - 1. I think we're going to settle the score tonight, hehe.
I'll post my wife's deck in a minute - its really good =)

Go for survival of the fittest if your up for splashing green it's nasty in reanimator decks and platinum angel is always nice to play for free with a reanimate effect.

An appealing notion... Although an excellent suggestion, I don't think I'll splash for green :-/
Griselbrand btw is one atomic bomb. Platinum Angel is sick (I mean that in a good way) I'll definitely think about it =D
Thanks Miles ! =)

I just remembered an old tempest favorite of mine living death. It says kill all creatures on the field and then take all the creatures that were in the graveyard and put them into play. I can't believe I forgot about that till just now.

Living Death, I actually think I have one of those sitting in am old binder. What should I switch?
And whats your oppinion about: -4 Vampiric Tutor or Demonic Tutor, +4 Extirpate?

Extripate is more of situational card in my opinion it is crazy awesome but unless your playing someone whose real counter heavy or control heavy I would much rather fetch needed stuff, if you were going to add it in though I'd probably drop expedition map because with your tutors they say search for a card you could always tutor into a land if you needed one.

Whoops - I forgot the Mishra + Elixir/Map combo. Do you know any other powerful artifacts worth adding 4-of?

Since you mentioned an interest in exiling cards from libraries we could go way back and pull out jester's cap especially because you could exile huge amounts of cards with the mishra combo. Ahh.. Good ol jester's cap, the artifact of sadistic players everywhere.

Haha, I forgot all about that one ! I used to get beat sideways with the Cap. Really pesky to play against, haha =D

I'm afraid that Jester's Cap was, to much regret, too slow :-/ I had to remove it

Well, I dont like griselbrand nor niv-mizzet ;/
I would add something stronger like in my dragon deck:
Kilnmouth dragon, Furyborn hellkite or "vorosh, the hunter"....any of them are fucking game killers, but you have to add some dragon for kiln and maybe some lighting bolt or something simillar for Furyborn.
I guess vorosh is a hell of a card to play here, the only thing that slows this deck is the legandary creatures rule ;P
Hellkite overlord is a good card too

The only thing I would do for sure is this:
-1 griselbrand
+1 vorosh

Hi Aliski, thank you for commenting my deck =)
Griselbrand and Niv-Mizzet actually work well together, at the expense of 7 life, I get 7 cards, and deal 7 damage, plus when I attack with the two, 7 life restored. Trust me when I say: Griselbrand is an absolute atombomb in this reanimator =D if he gets killed, Exhume/Animate Dead, the only flaw is if he is removed entirely from the game, however I put together a nasty, dirty-as-hell SB capable of countering Swords to Plowshare/Path to Exile
Its a shame that Mental Misstep got banned, but then again, this is only for casual play ; )
