I remember first reading the Bloodrush mechanic and thinking that I would have a hard time finding a situation where I would rather discard a creature for temporary gain rather than play it and have the opportunity to swing multiple times with him. Then I actually played a Bloodrush deck.Every single attack your opponent has to think long and hard about what might happen if he decides to block. And on the other hand, what happens if he DOESN'T block? He might hold onto his creature, but he also might be opening the floodgates on himself.Really fun mechanic. I don't own all of these cards, but the poor man's version of this that I do run is a blast to play.
