As you might know, the Pauper format consists in decks constructed only with Common cards. This deck's base is very simple. A couple of Elementals, and cards to make them cheaper, some burn instants and a direct damage engine that uses Fling, Soul's Fire and Act of Treason to make your opponent's life a bit difficult. - With enough mana it's possible to deal 15 damage with Arc Runner + Soul's Fire + Fling. - If you have a Brighthearth Banneret on the battlefield, one Coal Stoker allows you to play another Coal Stoker or a Flamecore Elemental, or a Arc Runner and a 2-mana Elemental. Or all of them. - 4x Act of Treason + 4x Lightning Bolt + 4x Searing Blaze = your opponent is less likely to have blockers. - Act of Treason + Fling is very, VERY, annoying. - Smokebraider helps. And looks more important then he actually is, so your opponent might waste some cards with it, as you play with the Banneret and Coal Stokers. And Arc Runners. - Soul's Fire is cool because you don't need to sacrifice anything :D
