Deck discussion for Hypergenesis

Cascade won't work the way you want it to. Hypergenesis has no converted mana cost, not a converted mana cost of 0. It doesn't cost more, it doesn't cost less, it doesn't cost the same, it just has no converted mana cost. Your spells will cascade into nothing. I suggest you remove all your cascade creatures and add in some walls and ramp. Sakura-Tribe Elder is an excellent choice. Block, sac it and get a basic land. You could also add in Kozilek and Ulamog. Just for funsies. I also strongly suggest tutors or draw engines. There are also a plethora of cards that remove time counters from suspended cards so you may wish to consider those.

Although that does seem to make sense, this is a pretty well known combo archtype within legacy and in modern a few seasons ago before hypergenesis was banned. After viewing your comment I did check with my local DCI judge and he did confirm that it was a legal move.

Just any better fatties to bring out basically or anything to do with the land since I've noticed a lot of decks built around this strategy seem to run only about 16 lands

In the idea of lands Hypergenisis usually uses City of Brass and its kin.

As far as creatures, you have a fairly good idea. Shardless Agent exists, if you'd prefer a creature instead of instant/enchantment for your three slot, infact you may want to replace Bloodbraid with Shardless. This way you could use typical ramp (I.e: spirit guides). Griselbrand Is a VERY VERY amazing card for draw... you may want to think about that for your fatties.
