Hello ThereSo this is about the 5th version of the deck I've been playing/been taught with. I've been playing magic for about a month or so now. This deck started off its life as the Green/Black Intro deck for the 2014 core set. I picked mono green because I really like the idea of being able to bust out a lot of mana quickly and then be able to flood the field with big stompy creatures.I have been playing/tweaking it with my friends and by going to a couple of events at my LGS, and so far have managed to avoid coming in dead last, and land firmly in the 2nd to 3rd from last zone. I would like any comment/advice y'all might have, to help me make this deck the better.
So my main theme for this deck is pretty simple, like I said above I really like being able to pump out mana fast for big creatures. I figure that by having cards that let you search for land I could get forests out quicker and try to get out cards like Mistcutter Hydra, Nessian Wilds Ravager, or Arbor Colossus out faster and give them more of a punch with back up with the Bow of Nylea and the Goddess herself adding Deathtouch and Trample.The other strategy I have going in this deck would be the combo of the 2nd Howl of the Night Pack with Raised by Wolves, which could let me get up to 9 wolf tokens and give +9/+9 to one creature. But since I only have one of each, its really more like a back up plan.
