Deck Description

This is a standard deck I'm testing against many different kinds of decks, the cool part it that it wins quite a bit. Your mana curve makes colors of mana eventually irrelevant due to Chromatic Lantern, Gilded Lotus and the shock land fetch from Ranger's Path and Farseek. Fog, Terminus, and Supreme Verdict stall. Sphinx's Revelation, Griselbrand, and Thragtusk refreshes your beat-down life and hand. Temperal Mastery and Increasing Ambition sets up the win by either Kessig Wolf Run, Door to Nothingness, or Nicol Bolas.

How to Play

When using the sideboard, extra Centaur Healers and Thragtusks helps against R or RB burn/speed damage decks. I might also recommend Rhox Faithmender as an alternative sideboard card, as Sphinx's Revelation would heal quite a bit with your mana excel and a couple Rhox on the field.

Have you had any luck completely solving the aggro matchups? While they're not unbeatable it gets really tiresome to have to lean on revelation as hard as this does to fight back from a quick start. Plus if you make one mistake in these matches you just lose :( (as I learned at the Columbus Star City Open this year). I'm also not sure what the Thoughtflare is for and this seems to be identical to Travis Woo's brew that he was streaming nearly a month ago. His latest version is in a recent article by him: http://www.channelfireball.com/articles/woo-brews-omnidoor-is-the-real-deal/ and the main differences appear to be:

-1 Plains
-1 Terminus
-1 Increasing Ambition

+2 Sphinx's Revelation
+1 Glacial Fortress

And the board changes are:
-2 Sphinx's Revelation
-1 Centaur Healer
-1 Temporal Mastery
-1 Thoughtflare

+4 Rhox Faithmender (as you mention in the description)
+1 Increasing Ambition
