Scott McCord took this deck to 2nd place at GP - Philadelphia in 2000. It's my favorite variation of one of my favorite archetypes ever. I have played it, as well, with great success, even against many more modern decks.
The goal is simple. Play Illusions of Grandeur and gain 20 life. Then, Donate it to your opponent. When he can no longer afford the upkeep, it will leave play, and he will lose 20 life. Repeat until game over.All other cards in the list are there for the sole purpose of protecting the combo and getting it to go off as soon as possible.
