Deck Description

now i will be the first to admit that i am in no way a good or experienced dredge builder or player. but that doesn't mean i cant love the deck type. i had proxied up a incredibly poor version to play with my friends, when i realized how devistating griselbrand would be if dread returned. in that same moment, i resolved to build the Griselbrand Dredge.
heres my list so far. it's in the shell of a lions eye daimond dredge that focuses on blood ghast for rather than ichorid. it's janky, and to be honest i have almost no idea what i'm doing, but i do beleive the deck has potential. every time i've dread returned a griselbrand, my entire library (yes, ALL of it) is thrown into my graveyard, and i win on the same turn, usualy by dredging up a dakmor salvage, using it to return my 4 bloodghast, and sacing them away for bragillions of zombies. i've had multiple turn one wins in playtesting. i'm still working on sideboard, cause i know enough about dredge to know that it's the second game that is the real trick.

Deck discussion for Griselbrand Dredge

I feel like 4 Griselbrand is a little overkill. Maybe you should just run 2 and add 2 Flame-Kin Zealot. Zealot is the way to win with Bridge from Below.

in this deck, if i reanimate griselbrand, i win. if i reanimate a zealot, there's a chance i wont have enough tokens, or my opponents will have enough blockers. when i hit griselbrand though, my entire deck flips, and i get bragillions of zombies. because my deck flips, i only need one zealot, because my entire library will be in my graveyard, and therefore zealot will HAVE to be in my graveyard. but your right that griselbrand may be overkill at 4. dropping it to three may be a good idea. it's just that it's also good because if u have extra you can pitch it to ichorid..... if i were to drop it to 3, should i grab an extra land or my last eye-daimond? thanks for the comment!

Sadly I have yet to play against this variety of dredge, so I can't be of as much help as I'd want =/

I am a bit puzzled though...maybe I'm just lacking sleep, but I don't see how you're providing haste to these "bragillions" of zombies. Bloodghast wouldn't have haste yet either, so I'm confused as to how you're getting turn 1 wins with this. It has everything else to do it, just not the last part hahaha.

I might drop one grisly for a flame kin, or a darkblast for flamekin.

that is because i had missed the adding of flamekin. i had coppied the decklist and ended up with 59 cards, so i had added an extra thug. i realize i had somehow missed flamekin. the cardsleeves must have stuck together or something. my bad.

Ah, alright, that makes sense. Well, LED is in some cases, (such as in dredge) at least as good, if not BETTER than Black Lotus...so I see no reason to put 4 of that broken piece of shit in here =P

Sorry, but I do wish that thing was banned...it really needs to be =/

I would at least try to swap to a 4 LED/3 Grisly set up, to see how it works, because like you said, you only need one Grisly =]
