This is my first time taking a shot at an EDH deck, I'm open for new card ideas
You try and get card draw, discard what you don't want. You'll be bound to get elixir of immortality so don't think too much about discarding unless the opponent starts to get a lot out. Also Reliquary tower helps out a lot. This is mostly about trying to get card draw to do damage and a few infinite combos with Niv-Mizzet (including his RTV version with himself) to get automatic game win
