Deck Description

I realize the title has nothing to do with the deck, so in case you couldn't figure it out from looking at it: it's a Merfolk deck. Not starndard legal.

Tidal Warrior gives your opponent an island to make use of all this island walk, and can also slow them down. Highly suggest it. I'd take out Daze in its place. Daze is a weak counter for it's cost, and you have enough counters otherwise I think.

i enjoy creating islands using spreading seas in mine...also can act as a "land destruction" to certain lands...

Yeah that works too. I like Tidal Warrior because in multiplayer you can target different opponents each turn rather than just the one that it is enchanted to. And yes I realize you can have 4. Just saying though.

I know this may be getting away from your deck idea a bit, but bringing up Tidal Warrior just reminds me of a deck I've played against that also has Sea Singer. It ties up both TW and SS, but it's a good way to deal with a nasty creature your opponent controls and you can change it each turn. Just thought I'd bring it up while we're on the topic.

I keep trying to add the tidal warriors and it's giving me more than i'm entering, and it's putting some in the sideboard. wtf?

I would look into other options. 4 life each time you wanna play it is gonna be tough, especially with no life gain.Perhaps Downsize would work? Not the same, but it fits better.

it's really there for removal. what if i replaced 4 islands with watery graves?

you could just go with something like 'echoing truth'...gets you alot more bang for your buck in removal...and it pitches to FoW.
