I am indeed jealous of your beautiful swords! haha For some "unknown" reason nobody ever wants to trade them away! ha I'll have to bite the bullet and buy them eventually....

If budget isn't a concern then Archangel Avacyn is perfect for this deck. I've been running Spirits for some time with lots of success. Also Stasis Snare is one of the best removal spells for ya! Skywhaler's Shot I like as well. Scry is wonderful. Revolutionary Rebuff is a decent counterspell option but my favorite is Spell Shrivel. On the note of theme though......check out Eerie Interlude! :-D

Well so far as to protect him...... Lightning Greaves, Cloak and Dagger, Whispersilk Cloak, Swiftfoot Boots, Mask of Avacyn, Aspect of Mongoose.......those are some of my favorite HEXPROOF/SHROUD options.........as for INDESTRUCTIBLE.....Gift of Immortality, Indestructibility, Shield of the Oversoul, Shielded by Faith, Darksteel Plate, Shield of Kaldra. I know there is probably more but those are the ones I found from my current EDH lists.
Awesome... That's what I was thinking to be the case. Then why not put in some shroud/hexproof and indestructible enchantments and equipments for that purpose???

What success have you had with this deck? Does it hinge on keeping Reaper King on the battlefield?

My apologies. I didn't put a deck description. The deck is based on the idea of a limitation of only uncommon cards.....other than the commander of course!
I like the idea of budget EDH as well! I recently made some budget decks. I limited myself to Pauper cards for one deck and Uncommon cards for the other. It was a blast! I've played against a colorless deck like this before. It was too slow. Maybe it was just bad draws but I imagine Corrupted Crossroads is where this needs to go for more versatility. It will allow you to use any DEVOID(colorless) creature! Give it a thought. I know I have. I'll post my idea here in a bit for what I was thinking.
How has Essence Flux played for you? I run a U/W Spirits right now but no Flux. With rotation coming I've been fiddling with different looks though.
Hey there. I love the theme deck. I've been stuck on themes recently! haha The first thing I thought when I read your list was.....Celestial Flare? How has that been playing for you? It seems like there must be a better option for removal since hexproof isn't much of a thing right now. At least in my area of shops.
