Deck Description

Welding giant creatures is addictive and with so many paths to victory, if you don't win on Turn 3, it'll be soon after. It kills Aggro and Control decks but has trouble only against faster combo decks :P

How to Play

The deck tends to win quickly and you need to see as many cards early as possible. Ideal is to get a Goblin Welder, Mountain, Buried Alive, Vault of Whispers in your opening hand and the game is done in 3-4 turns.

Turn 1: Mountain, Goblin Welder
Turn 2: Great Furnace / Vault of Whispers, Anvil if big creature in hand, Lightning Greaves otherwise
Turn 3: 3rd land - Buried Alive. Send Anger (for fervor/haste) and Sharuum (buy one get one free) every time. Choose a third big creature based on your opponent and weld Sharuum and your third:
* Magister Sphinx if they have no flying, set life to 10 and attack with all, game over
* Inkwell against blue or control decks (shroud is invaluable if no Greaves have come)
* Duplicant to take down a Colossus
* Steel Wind when low on life
* Platinum Angel when in dire circumstances or Lightning Greaves is out for protection
* Sundering Titan for multiplayer

Copper Gnomes and Summoner's Eggs help get big cards out of your hand. Gnomes and Nevinyrral's Disk are important against Rest in Peace and Extirpate.
Faithless Looting and Anvils help move cards along quickly if you're drawing dead.

Never bring out multiple Goblin Welders. Always have the Nevinyrral's Disk out in play for insurance. This deck will ALWAYS be faster after a Disk wipe if you have a Welder in your hand and an Anger in your graveyard). Don't wait on big cards to come to your hand for an Egg - just cast the Egg for defense and trust in multiple cards to help (Animate Dead, Welder, Copper Gnomes, Shrapnel Blast). Protect Welders and Platinum Angel with Lightning Greaves.

Save Shrapnel Blasts for annoying monsters, planeswalkers and last minute wins. Bosh is invaluable late in the game, being able to dole out 8 direct damage for the finishing blow after an attack.
