Deck Description

R/G Standard deck of choice, not centred around Kiln Fiend, or agression for that matter, he's just a better 2-drop than nest invader, it's great against other aggro decks.. It's more of a controlish mid-range deck itself, not rly typical of R/G however, typically:

T1 - Forest, Birds
T2 - Growth Spasm
T3 - Inferno Titan or Terra Stomper or Chandra

Having 6 mana on Turn 3 is a winner, If you don't draw birds, then control the board with whatever else..

Also, does anyone else think Chandra is the most underplayed PW?? I mean, she comes out Turn 3 more than not, can have her ulti ready by turn 5, can damage other PW's, or just control the board to clear the way for your creatures, just saying.

Deck discussion for They Will Not Force Us

Chandra is amazing. I run her in my Standard deck, and I usually get her down turn 4 (I'm mono-Red, so I use Everflowing Chalice, which makes for fun turn 3 plays like Koth or Cyclops Gladiator), and she really helps me control the field. I think people just snub their noses at her 5 cmc.

Seems like you have an awkward turn 2 if that BoP eats a removal spell. How's your Control match up look like? But more curiously, what's up with that sideboard? There's a lot of odd stuff in there.

Yeah still working on the SB, Punishing fire for vamps, combust for U/W, still just ideas.. Control match up is iffy, pretty good however, they usually save their roil or doomblade to get rid of the the kiln fiend, titan, or stomper attacking, than I VoV in response and that usually throws them out a bit. Act of Treason seems to be a tonne more effective than ruinblaster in the slot, buffs kiln fiend, clears the blocker and gives me some extra damage.. If the birds get zapped than I have to find my tempo again through direct damage and ramp, if I can't then thats it rly.. I chose staggershock over burst lightning, it has better synergy with KF and lightning bolt and the best mana-to-damage burn atm I think..
