One of the biggest issue is how fragile your defence is early game... this is also the reason to have diffusion sliverGem hide is an excellent ramp... -SIDEBOARD-This isn't a real sideboard just a selection of good alternatives for a sliver deck. If you are wanting more protection than poultice sliver in the sideboard could be an option but I prefer playing a little more aggro.

ThornCaster + Venom means Instant kills since Thorncaster allows them to do direct damage and deathtouch means any damage they do kills the creatures.I would run 2 Thorncaster main boardI would also trade the Forbidden Orchards for Cavern of Souls since you don't really wanna give your opponent tokens for no reason.
