Deck Description

Inspired by the famous Squirrel Prison, the deck, which is a very casual budget modern experience, designed to lock down opponents lands and creatures: Courtesy of Telekinetic "Opposition" Sliver.

Everyone always builds 5-colour sliver; but this deck is testament to the fact you don't need to play spectrum to play slivers, you just need to pick a coherent game plan, and you can usually run perfectly fine in 2-3 colours

How to Play

The deck curves low, and you're aiming to hit gemhide, telekinetic or Dormant sliver as soon as possible. These allow you to ramp, lock or dig in order to even the board state and start to inch ahead. The deck wins when it amasses 10 slivers, one of which is a Psionic Sliver, and they all turn sideways for 20 damages straight off the mark. This is why the "defender" given by dormant sliver is no impediment.

If it's not abundantly apparent, a Dormant Sliver & a Gemhide Sliver make Intruder Alarm a spectacular engine, hence the 2 of; and the Root Maze ensures that they can't sneak in pesky 1 mana removal spells by playing a fresh land for the turn; keeps the Bolts & Paths away.
