Deck Description

Abuse creatures sacrifice and enter play abilities by returning them to play with Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker at the end of each turn. Resurrect and copy Eldrazi annihilators with haste from your graveyard.

Put 1/1 creatures onto the field quickly with Apprentice Necromancer and Mask of the Mimic by keeping the sacrificed creature in play with Shirei.

Defend with Daring Apprentice's counter spell and Bone Shredder's destroy target creature and refresh these cards at the end of each turn with Shirei.

Sacrifice Eldrazi for health with Miren, The Moaning Well when they are forced to return to the graveyard as a result of Apprentice Necromancer's sacrifice ability and have Cemetery Puca keep copies of them in play.

Efficiently move cards from your library into your graveyard with Buried Alive and Entomb, and into your hand with Raven Familiar every turn as its 'comes into play' ability is refreshed.
_____________________________________
You're going to want to put Shirei into play as quickly as possible and there are a few ways to do this. Playing Shirei from your hand is sometimes necessary but costs 5 mana to do so. You'll often have the opportunity to put Shirei into play a couple of turns earlier by playing him from your graveyard. The quickest way to do this is by entombing him and either keeping him in play with Recurring Nightmare or with Apprentice Necromancer and then either Mask of the Mimic, Cemetery Puca.

Even though Shirei is crucial to gaining momentum with this deck you can often hold your opponent off with your other creatures until you are able to put Shirei into play and start sacrificing.
