Deck discussion for Illusion, Michael.

If we are going for a theme where is the counterspell that makes an illusion token. I think it was a common from world wake. However due to the fact the budget is over $200 this looks more like a competitive deck than a theme'd deck paying homage to a neglected tribe.

I've readjusted the deck to make it a little more reasonable in price. Not sure if snap caster Mage is even necessary. Fetch lands were the ones that were expensive....

I really like the deck. Question, where is the one mana illusion? plus i think blue sun and cryptic are just unnecessary. You can play some of the 1 mana draw spells that would be better for you.

The deck needs to be sped up. Drawing cards is huge... Cryptic is awesome... So many variations to use

but the cost. With tribal you are wasting so much mana to draw one card and counter a spell when you need to beef out illusions to kill your opponent. Trust me I know the power of cryptic but I don't think it needs to be here.

Tapping all the opponents creature is an auto win at times... It's more than just a counterspell

i see your point, cryptic is a great card but with the counterspell that returns a land to your hand you will always be 1 turn behind. Why are you not playing very many draw spells?

Nice deck! I've always like Chronozoa, but I've never found a deck to use it in properly. Why not Veiled Sentry? I don't think it's Modern legal, so it could be a good option as long as you don't care about legality.
If you're using snow-covered lands, Scying Sheets is a pretty good option to help you out while topdecking.

If you wouldn't mind, could you give me some feedback on one of my decks? Here's a link:
