With Cradle of Vitality(released in 2008), 100 +1/+1 counters in a turn. I say Cradle of Vitality cause this post is from 2014. You can use Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn or Nykthos Paragon to do the same today to get 100 +1/+1 counters. IF allowed Felidar Sovereign or Test of Endurance(2002) can win the game out right on your next upkeep with that 100 life. You could also combo that 100 with Sanguine Bond(2010) dealing 100 damage to your opponent instantly. The entire card is amazing but don't undermine what you can do with the -8.

haha, yes. Have him in my abzan deck. One that runs both hardened scales and corpsejack menace. Lol, I've had a few people just surrender after I get him out with those on the field.
