Yeah, especially when it gets hit with Searing Blood and it deals 5 damage to you and kills your precious 2/1. This card is pretty...how you say, not-so-good.

The reason why he's good is because he's a one-drop 2/1 in red, and because you can pump him if you have nothing better to dump mana into. The decks I see him used in are typically R/W, using Warleader's Helix anyway and don't entirely focus on damage dealt to them, because they usually flatten your blockers as they come out and slam you with the satyr. Like that Satyr that deals damage to you for playing low-cost spells, it's only to hurt your opponent more than it's hurting you.
