I've always wanted to make an equipment deck, but I don't have the money to get into Legacy. This is an attempt to make an equipment deck that's competitive in modern. The goal is to synergize with equipment without depending too heavily on them.I'm still working to put it together IRL, so we'll see how it goes.

The Crusader abuses Swords with double strike. Protection on the Champion makes it both a great attacker and blocker, a perfect target for the Shield. The Archangel has a big body with wings making it a great finisher.## Knight Exemplar, Indomitable ArchangelThese guys provide a lot of defense utility. The Exemplar keeps your other knights alive, and the Archangel protects your equipment. Remember to equip Etched Champion before playing the Archangel.## Darksteel Citadel, Mox Opal, Accorder's ShieldThese 0 mana cost artifacts let you gain metalcraft in a hurry.## Accorder's Shield, Cranial Plating, Swords of X and YThe equipment are the main tactical tools. The Shield on the Paladin and the Exemplar protects the synergy. The swords are especially good on the Crusader.## Steelshaper's GIftLets you tutor Equipment. In the early game, it's a good idea to nab a Shield to help get metalcraft and protect your creatures.
