I feel like Lord Xander is a very under-appreciated Grixis commander. Yes he is expensive to cast but his value is on point! No matter the board state he is never a dead card. Basically built the deck around him. Lots of mana rocks to get him out early and can use copy spells like spark double, sakashima, clever impersonator, and rite of replication to make multiple copies of him which is absolutely devastating. Oh and the legends rule doesnt apply when Mirror Box is out ;).
