Deck Description

The object is to get Sigil of the Empty Throne out fast or to get Martial Coup out big. From play testing, both can become overwhelming.

You start with playing mana ramp enchantments, such as Overgrowth and Fertile Ground. You also hold down the fort by laying a few lock-down enchants until you are able to play Empty Throne. This is fairly easy via the help of idyllic tutors as well. Once Empty Throne is out, it's a matter of playing out the 21 enchantments available.

With the availability of Fertile Ground and Seaside citadel, blue counter spell is available. This has generally been enough to keep the Empty Throne from getting the ax.

Deck discussion for Empty Throne Ramp

Mesa Enchantress, Femeref Enchantress, Yavimaya Enchantress would be the best kinda creatures to complement an enchantment deck. Weight of Conscience is almost useless in a deck without creatures. Aegis of Honor is a very strong enchantment.

Good Luck, kung-fu_elmo

PS: pls look at my "Undying Annoyances" deck and give me some advice thx :)

Played at FNM tonight, 2nd place (tied for first but had a 2-1 game against me). I ended up making a sideboard (which I'll post later) consisting of hindering light, bant charm and other blue counter. Despite the lack of island, the seaside citadels and fertile grounds were more than enough. I will definitely be modifying the main deck to include these cards.

As far as Weight of Consience, it's actually a very effective card for two reasons. First, I would frequently have 6+ soldiers and 1-2 angels out at a time. Also, Martial Coup cleans up WoC'd creatures very nicely.

Overall satisfied with the performance!

I think you still probably need more blue sources.

Idyllic Tutors seem like they could just be replaced with a useful enchantment. More copies of Story Circle, perhaps?

Runed Halo from the board could be good..
