Visions of Brutality to make the opponent think twice before attacking you with some annoying creature. Vampiric link is there for similar reason, but you can enchant your vampire with it too for life gain. If you're against a control deck with not a lot of creatures, you can replace Visions of Brutality with any combination of Dash Hopes, Sorin and Sign in Blood.You can use Blood Seeker instead of Kalastria Highborn against token decks.
