Deck Description

Just a fun Izzet deck I'm currently running. I would enjoy some criticism (be it negative or positive).

Looks like a good deck to me. You should add Skullcrack to your sideboard just in case you run up against a life gain deck. And maybe take two of the Guildgates out and add one Mountain and one Island instead. If you want to drop the deck down to sixty cards my recommendation is to lose a couple Dragonshift (I only say that because it is a good win condition but I wouldn't want to lose my creatures' abilities, especially Guttersnipe and Electromancer, unless I was going for the win, of course). Or maybe take one Ral Zarek out and one Dragonshift. But really the deck is pretty solid as it stands in my opinion.
If you wouldn't mind, could you take a look at my Izzet deck and tell me what you think. It's called Nivmagus and Guttersnipe. Thanks.

Maybe Take off the Cancel and put some counterflux instead

He can cast cancel/dissipate for 2 mana with electromancer but not counterflux.

dissipate instead of cancel just in case you face any reanimator decks

He wants cancel so he can spelltwine the countered spell. Sideboard dissipate.

-4 Cancel, +4 Dissipate. Same cost and offers exile.

Consider looking into Think Twice for card advantage.
Situationally, Turn // Burn to shut down annoying enemies like Thragtusk and Syncopate for things like Sphinx's Revelation and Bonfires.

Seriously people. Dissipate is not always better. Break that mold

Idk I just play against a lot of voice of resurgence, angel of serenity, and other reanimators in which they always manage to get their stuff from the graveyard back. That's why I think dissipate is better at the moment.

Dissipate is a better counter spell than Cancel, unless you have Spelltwine in your deck, which Chaoskings35 does, than Dissipate is worse. Maybe you should put some Dissipate and Tormod's Crypt in your sideboard just in case you come across a reanimator deck. Then you can replace Cancel and Spelltwine for those.
