Deck Description

Inspired by the landfall ability from the Zendikar block, hence, decided to try out a Valakut-land burning deck.

The entire deck is to use the Valakut and mountain to burn down the opponent's life to 0.

How to Play

By having BoP and Lotus Cobra on the battlefield, fast mana acceleration can be done, and quickly summon the great Primeval Titan to fetch 2x Mountain for the Valakut. With Inferno Titan and other red spells to incinerate creatures from the enemy side.

Green sorcery spells are meant to accelerate further to drain out all the Forest.

Deck discussion for Valakut Destruction

Use amulet of Vigor and scapeshifts, also Harrows, turn three win half the time with those.... otherwise it looks good. Try to take out some of the counterspells, definitely keep the lightning bolts... try to get a different secondary way of winning besides the inferno titans. Try something like rampaging Baloths, or Avenger of Zendakar. Take out the burst lightnings, and try to focus more on the Valakuts, that is what will win the game for you. I have a landfall deck that could be modified for this... check it out here for ideas :http://www.mtgvault.com/vanguard487/decks/landslide/%5C
I have gotten turn three wins with this, and mostly turn 4's. The problem is that I run out of lands, so keep that in mind when you play this. Especially with Scapeshifts.
