Deck Description

This deck is a showcase of the raw power of red. Double damage enchantments, burn spells, and creatures that benefit from instants/sorcerys/burn.

Breaking point really messes the field up and I will acquire 2 more for this deck, chances are my opponent will destroy all creatures rather than take 12 or more damage, if they take the 12 damage then they are 1 burn away from death =]

Krenko's command is extremely helpful, it gives me 2 blockers for the price of 1 spell and since it's a sorcery it still activates kiln fiend and guttersnipe.

Deck discussion for Showcase of Red

Wow, this looks really nasty. My friend had a much tamer version of this running Curse of the Bloodletting, as well as Fire Servant. If you have them, maybe you could consider chain lightning over flame javelin? Fire Blast is also a possibility if you're tapped out and need to deal the last bit of damage.

Yea this deck has worked amazingly well everytime, It consistantly drops 20 damage by turn 5 or so, and does pretty good with creature control without wasting my whole hand.

Chain lightning is the shit, wish I had it, i'd make room for it definitely. Fire blast is pretty cool but I hate sacing lands in burn decks, maybe as a finisher for sure, I'll have to see if I have any, maybe play test a game with it.

I made a heavy burn deck, if you wouldn't take a look mind. http://www.mtgvault.com/gmitrowd/decks/mono-red-burn-deck/
