This deck is made for the Lich challenge. When the Lich is in play it have the possibility to create a massive card advantage with cards as vampire nighthawk and the consume spirit/drain life spell. Also Deathgreeter is there to take advantage even if you have to sacrifice creatures to survive. Zombie Infestation is there for two reasons, create an army to kill the opponent and make tokens to sacrifice for survival. Dauthi Embrace is there to give Death's Shadow shadow and turn it into a killing machine. Darkness is there obviously enough to remove a bit of heat if some hardhitting creatures are making their move. I have a good question for you: What happens if your life total is less the zero in terms of Death's Shadow? Does it get an increase instead since a minus times a minus gives a plus? A stupid question I know but still an interesting point.

Pretty neat. I'd maybe put some sort of tutoring or maybe Liliana in there to make sure you get your Lich early enough? Just a thought.
sadly it is horribly vulnerable to disenchant and the like. take a look at mine and see what you think. mine basically turns lich into a bomb
Maybe switch 4 swamps for 4 dark ritual?
