This deck is just for life gain/direct damage shenanigans. It's actually kind of fun to play when it comes together with combat tricks for damage mitigation and damage. Comments and concerns are welcome!
Because this deck starts out slow, I try to get a hand with some destruction and a Festering Newt to help me survive til turn 5 when things start going crazy with Bubbling Cauldron, Angelic Accord, Sanguine Bond and Whip of Erebos. As a last ditch, you can bring back Vizkopa Guildmage with the Whip and activate it's ability (it costs 7 to do the whole thing) but if you haven't gotten Sanguine Bond out, and Vizkopa is in the graveyard, it can pull the hurt. Basically you're gonna take some damage, but if you can make sure that you haven't dropped too far below 10 by turn 5, you should be pretty set. My favorite is when an opponent comes in, you declare blockers to mitigate their damage, then their attack step ends with them taking damage and you gaining health from sacrificing your blockers
