Great Deck !!! I would love to play test it ! Maybe you can tell me that i'm wrong , but i think that another Grave Titan and another Avenger of Zendikar would do so much more for this deck than 2 Wurmcoil Engine ?! 1 Ob nixilis out for another Overwhelming ? This card is amazing ! Really awesome deck !
Thanks a lot!!! This deck took a lot of work as you can tell!! Grave Titan is my homie and is my favorite card in standard. I literally build every deck with him in mind...I would love to have 4 of him but I only own 3 and I honestly see him so much with 3 I think I'm good. Avenger is great and 1 of my W.C.'s but he is 7 mana and has a great chance of being countered. I like to stick to my turn 3 6 CMC drop Thank for the comment!
I pulled a Grave out of a pack and I called it. IT WAS Awesome, but I've gone and traded it for a Wurmcoil....I miss it (sentimental value with him), so gonna try to get my hands on another one, maybe 2
i would definently take out ob nixills the fall for glissa the traitor cause she way better by far and it's turn 3 drop easily

Just picked up my other Glissa and 2 Thrun Dropped 2 Obs and the 2 Lotus Cobras...seeing as how they're how I got the Thruns. LOL But the deck is running smooother than ever!!! If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know!

LOL I like both cards a lot...but Grave Titan is soooo much better than Wurmcoil (not to mention worth twice as much) and a lot rarer seeing as how the Coil has a prerelese card Well hey at least you gotta Wurmcoil...but I would definietly get my hands on some Grave Titans seeing as how we have less than a year left with them before they rotate WOTC would be out of their minds if they printed the Titans again!

Man, Thrun is a Bitch! I LOVE it!!! Also Wurmcoil saves your life then wins for you, and video killed the radio star.
And thats the reason Wurmcoil is in the deck!! Yeah Thrun is pretty great, you can drop him...and just him...and win with him, its awesome!!
My brother made this deck and uses Lotus Cobra, it works out really good for him.
See i used to have Lotus Cobras in here..but they weren't doing anything for me except waste my opponents lightning bolts. lol. I figure Birds is all the creature ramp I need in this deck...but thank you!!
Overall it seems pretty good. Personally it seems a bit threat heavy, but by not playing blue I suppose you don't have as many ways to draw cards... I would probably swap out the Stampedes for Garruk Wildspeaker instead. It can do the same, but ramp as well or make beasts if you need blockers or just a few extra guys to push through for the win (really useful vs. control decks with Day of Judgement). Massacre Wurm seems like it'd be better in the sideboard and could maybe be taken out. Also, I would add Lotus Cobra. It's probably the best ramp card you can use if it survives, especially with fetch lands. After that, I would try to add 2 more land, even with all the ramp. The worst thing is missing land drops when you have so many big guys. Just some advice. If you'd like,you can give my updated UG ramp deck a look. It's put up really good results for me so far and is very similar in purpose to this deck.
I originally had Garruk and Lotus Cobras in here, but after lots of playtesting...they don't really do a whole lot for the deck. I like stampedes over Garrruk just because it's almost always more than +3/+3. And Lotus Cobras get killed as quickly as they're dropped so... I've just been playtesting with Massacre Wurm and honestly he is definietly an "iffy" card but he's great when my opponents have to block my creatures then their guys die and they still have to lose some amnount of life Thanks for the comments and I will check out your deck as well!

This deck is TONS of fun to play and it's not that hard to build...minus the Titans. But this deck started out pretty budget with Terra Stompers and Arrogant Bloodlords. LOL I never thought I would ever own 3 Primeval Titans or 3 Grave Titans (1 of which is foil!), but it just shows if you put a little time and effort into a deck, it can be the funnest thing you ever played. Yeah i'm not actually a fan of heavy creature decks but this is deck is really something. The history of this deck sounds kind of interesting. Like my Zombie deck that just pumped zombies but now goes around like a circle from my hand to battlfield down to graveyard and up again to my hand ^^ And you said i could ask you anything ^^then here it is. i Love this deck. it looks like alot of fun to play, and shows exactly what i predicted some tournament decks would look like. this looks realy strong. i love that all of the creatures -- excluding bop -- are mythic rare. makes me laugh. the only thing i could suggest would be harrow, though idk what you would take out.... Nice job.
In my first version of this deck I ran Harrow but then I realized Growth Spasm could get me a turn three 6 drop Thanks for the comment!

Yea I tried to make the sidebaord against all decks but 'm thinking about dropping the Deatmarks (because I rarely use them) for Bojuka Bogs to ruin Pyromancer Decks...even though I rarely lose to them once I side in and drop Gay Ass Revenge! I'm playing it at a new FNM place in Chicago on Friday so I'll post the results of it then! I appreciate the comment!
I like the deck idea. Quite a bit actually. One thing that I thought of while looking at it was maybe having Joraga Treespeaker instead of Birds of Paradise? The Flying is definitely awesome with Overwhelming stampede and having a titan in play ( a 6/7 Birds is nice)... but I think first turn Joraga second turn pump the Joraga into an Explore? Also, maybe have Overgrown Battlement as a sideboard card. For early aggro? I am seeing a lot of Kuldotha decks being made (mine for example). and Boros just top 8'd PT Paris. so you might see a lot of them running around as well.
I thought about Treespeaker and Battlement in the first draft of the deck...but it actually slows the deck down for the ramp spells With BOP I can drop Growth Spasm turn 2 and a 6 cmc drop turn 3 And I can use BOP for a black mana source which is helpful quite often Thrun and Glissa is all the early aggro I need! I personally prefer cobras to birds. If you do go cobra you can drop the cultivate for harrows since the combo can get you two turn 3 titans with the right hand. Granted the hand is hard to get!
I like the fact that Birds is a turn 1 drop and I like to keep my turn 2 open for Glissa if I don't have a ramp spell The Cobra/Harrow combo is very tempting, but I just don't think I want to risk it. Thanks for the comment!!

Tournament was yesterday!!! Here's how it went Match 1 against U/B Tezzerator Game 1 went a lil slow and I eventually lost to a giant Inkmoth Nexus Game 2...I sided in...turn 3 Grave Titan, turn 4 Wurmcoil Engine...he scooped Game 3 he dropped Tezzeret and Jace, I dropped Hexmage and killed Tezzeret, then I dropped Gaea's Revenge, smashed Jace then smashed him for the win! 1-0 Match 2 against U/W Control This is the EXACT same deck that won Paris Game 1 He didn't do too much except Spreading Seas my swamps and counter my shit...until I drew Thrun, dropped him and smashed until, I dropped Grave Titan, He DOJ, I regenerated Thrun and kept smashing for the win Game 2...I sided...He drops Ca-caw and pulls 3 more, I drop Primeval Titan and pull 2 Tec Edges, he drops Gideon and +s him up. He swings with everything...I Go For The Throat on his Gideon and drop Consume The Meek for his 3 birds, smash with Titan for the win 2-0 Match 3 against RUG Control Game 1 Turn 3 Grave Titan, he drops Jace, I attack his Jace but he drops another...ouch, He then double Bolts my Titan...ouch, then drops Inferno Titan and smashes me for the win Game 2...Sided in...Sad Sac and pullled 2 Jace's and an Inferno Titan, Dropped Wurmcoil and began smashing, he drops Jace and starts to bounce, He is at 7 life so I Exsanguinate him for 7 while he's tapped out. No one ever sees it coming! Game 3 close game...but In the middle of a Jace bounce fest on my Engine, I drop Hexmage to killl him, he drops Infrno Titan, I Go For his Throat and drop Wurmcoil, I smash with Gravy and Wurmcoil for the win 3-0 Last Match 4 against Kuldotha...uh-oh Straight up this is the fastest deck I have ever seen in Standard... Game 1 I got mana screwed big time, I mulligan down to 5 cards, he drops Gob Guide I drop Birds, turn 2 he drops Teet Peaks and smashes me for 4, I'm drawin nothing, he drops Chimeric Mass for 0 and sacs it to Rebirth then he drops Gob Bushwacker kicked and smashes for 12, I scoop Game 2 I got out a turn 3 Primeval Titan, but he Rebirths twice drops a Guide and 2 Signal Pest and I just couldn't keep up and lost God damn that is a fast deck 3-1 My deck was the talk of the tournament as mine was the only home brew deck and had NOTHING but bombs. People asked me where I got the idea for this deck and I simply said, "I love to smash, and everything in this deck lets me do so"
Chris, do ou have a forums account? Take another look at mine. I went 3-1 in an FNM and the only loss was to U/W Control, I raped a U/R Titan, Molten-Tail thing... it was odd, a Mono white artifact (which third game I had a really slow hand), and U/G Ramp/Rite of Replication

AMAZING!!!!!! When I play it...I win No one ever sees it coming I play it, and people don't even know what it does, prolly one of the most overlooked cards in Scars I ran it as 2x but I dropped it to a 1 of and I see it quite frequently I suggest running 1

MAJOR DECK CHANGES I have removed Glissa from the deck completely as she does not pass the Lightning Bolt test I replaced her with 2 Eldrazi Monuments since I have so many creature engines in the deck...the EM is my new main win con. I also took out the 2 Lotus Cobras as they pass the "die from anything" test Replaced them, Ob Nixilis, and Cultivates in favor of Overgrown Battlement and Doom Blade The Battlement idea was given by a friend as early blocker for Kuldotha as well as ramp Doom Blades were added just for more removal, I don't see G4TT as often as I'd like to and killing blockers is nice. =-) Whaddyathink?
It's aight. Check mine out again. It's working better than ever. Khalni Garden is good with Primeval Titan, it brings out two blockers kinda like Gravey. Smother is sometimes better than Doom Blade, so I'd test it out in SB in one FNM if you wanna risk it.
Most things you can smother...you can Disfigure I had Gardens in the first installment of this deck...but I hate that they come out tapped and if I have Primeval Titan out, I'm prolly winning already. I'm working on a new ramp deck and should have it up today!
