Let me introduce to Lonely King Kong, AKA Grunn. He likes nature hikes, entomology, stargazing, playing his ukulele, and punching overgrown nuclear lizards. If you want a threat in the zone, Grunn is your guy. Allow him to treat you like royalty as he goes ape on your opponents.....behold the Jank Smash
As you read this, you hereby sign to keep this deck hidden from the almighty NorthernWarlord, mostly because he probably already did Grunn and better, the smug prick. (<3 NW I'm just joking)So our game plan is the following: Mana Ramp to 6 or 9 mana. Cast Grunn. (Hopefully with Kicker.) Give trample. Have Grunn walk into town alone so he can win the Wild West High Noon Shootout with a boomerang shaped stick. Watch him thwomp. If you can apply Alpha Authority to a kicked Grunn with Paragon of Eternal Wilds and Challenger Troll out, he instantly crushes a player out of existence. Need I say more on the subject? Apply buffs to Grunn and have him go on a primal rampage. If this fails, we have other creatures to stomp spines. Molimo & Beanstalk Giant go great with Blanchwood Armor (and Ring of Thune on the Giant or just trample in general.) Yorvo can just become a threat, especially with Pridemalkin out as you cast dorks. Renata & Ivy Lane Denizen produce a board of threats as you keep casting creatures. Klothys's Design can end game if you can get Aggressive Mammoth out with dorks. If all else fails, there's nothing funnier than a big Hurricane to kill everyone, even yourself if you have to.
