Those are some really good suggestions. Thanks! Obviously, you can tell I'm pretty new with deck building. I'm used to just using the theme decks but now I'm getting bored with those. The only thing I'm concerned about is wanting to keep a decent deck that is Standard legal with the ability to put the really fun cards in when I'm playing a Modern game.

This is my first deck that I'm building. Based off of the Dimir deck from Gatecrash with my own tweaks. I'd like to keep it at least legal for Modern with some Standard options for when the need arises.Any suggestions or advice is welcome.
