Basically, I am trying to exploit cards that have been printed lately with abilities that can be used before the game starts. Cascade helps out too, so the only spells that have a converted mana cost of less than three are the copies of Hypergenesis. The deck is all about cheating creatures into play using Hypergenesis off of a cascade card or using Show and Tell. The obvious downsides are that when you cheat your creatures into play, your opponent also gets to put permanent into play. Besides that, this deck is vulnerable to hand disruption, combo decks, and counterspells (although you often have mana left over to pay for Daze or Spell Pierce). Serum Powder can be used instead of a mulligan to remove a completely bad hand from the game and draw that many cards (usually 7). Serum Powder also pitches to Gemstone Caverns if you are on the draw. By using Simian Spirit Guide, Elvish Spirit Guide, and Chancellor of the Tangle, you ramp up your mana count so you can play a spell and cheat a fatty into play as early as turn one. There are twenty lands in the deck, so it is not unreasonable to keep a hand that doesn't have any of these 'helpers' in it. Street Wraiths are good proxies for draw spells and are in this deck because they are free to cycle and do not get in the way of the cascade combo.
