Deck Description

Hexproof Bant Auras! Get Out Your Evasive Army And Start Buffing Them. Enchantment Creatures Serve A Greater Purpose Later In The Game To Help Support Your Creatures. And If You Experience A Board Wipe, Then You Still Maintain A Threat On The Board.

I Would Appreciate Any Feedback, Especially On SideBoard. Should I Incorporate Use Of Charms? Maybe More Enchant creatures? Thanks In Advance!

Deck discussion for Hexmane Bant

Nice curve gurl! Sad that Invisible Stalker is no longer standard but this looks solid for a Hexproof Bant.

I would consider running something like Commune With the Gods as like a 2-or-3-of to help draw out some of your deck on the off-chance you run into a pocket of empty draws.

I'm running a similar list ( http://www.mtgvault.com/gerich/decks/n%C3%BC-tron/ ). If you need ideas for a sideboard, something like that might work depending on your local meta.

I definitely agree there! Making addition now

As above said 4x Ethereal armor is a must, for SB you could consider blind obidence and glaring spotlights.

I couldn't agree more with Blind Obedience! Adding to sideboard now! Thanks for the input

He probably wants his deck to remain standard...

Yes yes. I hadn't checked the tags or the legality. My bad; thus I revoke my statement.

I Will Put One In The Sideboard. I Think It Has Tons of PotentiaL. Thanks For The Input!

Very nice. Really similar to mine actually. A few helpful things I've found are hopeful eidolon and a full play set of aqueous form which really is the closer.

I Agree, Aqueous Form Should Probably Go To 4. It's definitely A Key To Victory. But I Need To Determine What To Take Out. I Also Think I Should Main A Couple Of Boon Satyrs. A Quick flash Bestow Would Definitely Be Nice. Thanks For The Advice!

I'd hit the sylvan caryatid because you really don't need that much Mana and its mostly good as a blocker which you might not even need if you can hit hard enough with your unblockables

Also some form of artifact removal in the sideboard might be a good option. Especially with glaring spotlight in standard.

Lol. I've tested the deck out quite a bit and Ready // Willing is actually way way more of a utility card than you could imagine. I highly recommend it because with it the only thing that could beat this deck is Devour Flesh, Celestial Flare, and Cyclonic Rift (Overload). That's 3 cards that are relevant in standard.

Ready Is An Awesome Card! Definitely worth Including. Thanks For The Input!

Indestructibility doesn't protect against sacrifice effects.

Yeah, but it is nice against supreme verdict. And it's also nice to surprise a player by bringing back the defense of your seemingly tapped out defense

0

But there are cheaper ways to deal with DoJ-like effects. There's always things like Mending Touch that will keep your dude on the board in response to Supreme Verdict. If you're worried about getting smacked with a sacrifice effect, there's stuff like Selesnya Charm or Beckon Apparition.

Mending touch is a nice cheap solution. Since most of my enchants are probably going to sit on one creature anyway. I like the utility of any charm.

R//W Has utility options. It also untaps your creatures and you have the option of casting Willing with Sylvan Caryatid. Deathtouch, First Strike (Ethereal Armor) and Trample (Unflinching Courage) is a nice surprise.

i do like witchstalker in this deck but there is a smal problem. when would a player that plays blue or black cast a spell in your turn that is not a bounce spell or removal? and since all of your creatures have hexproof, your opponent cant cast those spells. so when would witchstalker grow then?

0

Counter spells would be an example. Any instant speed draw card. But the trigger ability isn't really the sell point for me. It's the hexproof 3/3 for 3 mana. That's a pretty nice setup especially since removal is such a big deal such as Hero's downfall, abrupt decay, doom blade, even all the burn spells. Granted there are plenty of ways around hexproof as mentioned in an earlier comment.

def think blind obedience should be on the main deck. such a great card. slows aggro down and just extort is a fun option as well. you ever think about archangel of thune??

I Really Like The Card,Too. But I Much Rather Keep It Sideboard In Case I'm Not Matched Against Aggro. Plus The Life Gain Is Always Great No Matter The Situation. Also SinceAoT Doesn't Really Have Any Protection, I Wouldn't Really Want Her InThe Deck. I Have Been Considering Fiendslayer paladin., Since His protection Keeps Him Safe From Most Of The Common Removal In The Meta. Thanks For The Advice!

I would definatly consider the Fiendslayers. Maybe Banisher Priest and Arrest as well? I'm partial to Arrest, and Banisher is O-ring with a body

thanks for the deck, im building right meow! Just a suggestion but im going to sideboard 'simic charm' for the hexproof all permanents you control for a turn. just incase they try to destroy the enchantments. I'm also going to board more artifact removal for 'glaring spotlight' and 'ratchet bomb'. although dentention sphere and ready//willing are already good answers to those

Id suggest ordeal of heliod in place of ordeal of thassa. I would also main board the boon satyr. and maybe sideboard some counterspells for control matchups that dont use alot of creatures for your det sphere and pacifism. I would take the caratid out as well but if you like it then by all means keep it.

The lion is my favorite card already so i am biased in liking this deck. Anyway, my only suggestions are simic charm and oak street innkeeper. Innkeeper because this deck seems like one that would swing a lot. If you get the time, do you mind checking out my simic deck. It is my first attempt at one.

I like it! I'm running something similar. I went with voice of resurgence over gladecover scout, it gives the opposition a target that benefits me. They can't seem to not target it because it's the only thing they can, lol. Have you had any issues running only 22 land? I'm at 23 and it seems to run pretty smooth. +1 from me. Check mine out if you have a sec.
