Deck Description

Just an idea for standard trying to break the monotony of the mill decks and shadow born useless decks that just keep showing up without enough defense or answers to aggro and burn.

In my opinion mill is too fragile to aggro and burn decks to hold up without diluting themselves to pure creature hate or counter spells.

And shadow born apostle seems to be a sequel to the b rated horror movie known as relentless rats.

Having said all this I'm well aware this deck is missing a lot of thought and tuning that it needs to compete so help would be much appreciated.

Deck discussion for black red burn

I like this a lot
Sort of reminds me of my Boros Burn
http://www.mtgvault.com/memnite/decks/standard-boros-burn-rush/

If it were me I'd take out the plains because I don't think it's worth splashing white and you're going to have a better mana base
To replace Boros Charm (which is a very good card) I'd play Skullcrack
I'd also take out Boros Elite and put in Dynacharge which makes all of Pyromancers tokens 3/1

All very good ideas. I've been experimenting with this deck. The only reason I've been using white was boros charm for its invincible power and combo with guttersnipe to burn for six. This deck has changed completely about a dozen times so far and will likely be black red again shortly. As of now I'm working with grixis colors to run more draw because I keep running out of hand against aggro decks to keep them under control and with control decks their card advantage runs me over if they can keep guttersnipe off the board.
