Deck Description

okay. the name of the game is land destruction. i saw a good few of these floating around for a while. one of them even made the front page (which is awesome for any lamd destruction deck since they are almost never something people are happy to see)

mine does it a bit differently since i decided to go a rather fun route. splintering a land that has been turned into an artifact. an amazing way to win against a mono colored deck or even one that is dependent on a certain color of land. Ive added some cards like noxious revival and eternal witness to keep the combo as a more than one use kinda deal in the case it gets countered blown up or someone runs more than one type of land.

How to Play

winning here is by far not a fast process. to win with this deck you must first focus on surviving your opponents cards they have in their hand. this is made into a much bigger deal when i tell you that the only creatures you have to work with either cost 8 mana or are a 1/3 for three. but hey that's what they made stalling cards for right?

to stall we have several methods. the first being fog. second being land destruction and disruption. this buys us some time to get to our big guys and wipe them out. the final method is for last resort and that is permanent destruction. yes splinter can remove anything that isn't hexproof so long as you can make it an artifact. this should be used as a last resort to extract big issue permanents such as large creatures or disruptive artifacts/enchantments. the only reason we can do this is our ability to recur our splinters.

given a good hand and no major interference (like hardcore white blue control) we can actually rather quickly see our opponents without land in their library hand or on the field. remember even once you splinter a land they still have some on the field you must handle. do this by using terrastadon/beast within/crucible+ghost quarter.

most gamesare won by our opponent scooping do to lack of cards. some are won simply on opponent not going down and drawing out after 35+ turns when they refuse to go down
