Deck Description

this is a mono blue spirit deck i have been experimenting with lately. it's been kept standard legal mostly using common cards from the Avacyn block to power a aerial assault while keeping big beatsticks out of the way simple tricks such as hands of binding and Griptide. if anyone has an opinion on how i could standard legally add to the speed and efficiently gain better protection from mono black decks without running stormbound geist for its undying or dissipate as its three mana cost would slow me down in this deck which is intended to be a high speed kill deck.

How to Play

this deck almost always opens on turn two with a Shriekgeist or a favorable winds followed by a its first attack and defensive move or a divintation to seek out more creatures. the basic idea is to keep all your opponents creature pinned down or moved aside while striking in the air to get the twenty damage as soon as possible.

Deck discussion for Riptide

I would replace the battleground geist with a drogskol captain and if you like maybe the geist of saint traft

Saint traft i think is blue white and rather weak dispite his effect. Haven't heard of the captain though. To be honest i based the deck around pure flying spirits and the battleground gives spirits a boost which had saved me more than a few times.

Also woot. This deck made my goal if a competitive standard deck for under twenty dollars mean value.
