Deck discussion for Auras with Totem Armor

If one creature has many Totems Armor auras attached, would they all be destroyed?

Yes. If one creature has 3 totem Armors on it, and the creature is dealt lethal damage or destroyed, then all of the "Totem" armors are sacrificed, and the damage is removed from the creature.

Actually, if you read the Eldrazi FAQ, and the totem armor rules card from the booster packs, it indicates that only one totem armor would fall off and the creatures controller chooses which one.

Yeah only one is destoryed at a time per lethal damage unless the damage is dealt simultaneously and then it only does one.

I would love some thoughts on this deck. Particularly about the following points:

I added the Kraken Hatchlings for early blocking and early creatures to attach auras too (since they don't have defender). Any better suggestions?

What do you think of Aura Finesse? I like it for combat tricks(move an aura to kill a certain creature or do more damage). Or use it to save a valuable aura when the creature is worth getting rid of. Plus you draw a card off of it, so even if you use it for something stupid you get a benefit. If you think it should go suggest a replacement.

I'm pretty settled on my aura choices, except for boar umbra. Is the vigilence on mammoth umbra worth two more mana? Is snake umbra or bear umbra a better choice? Should I use one aura without totem armor like nimbus wings or canopy cover?

Finally, I have never been good at balancing mana for three colors. Please suggest any dual lands I should use and how many basic lands.

I look forward to your comments.

I LOVE kracken hatchling. However you definatly want to go with some creatures with hexproof. that is super important in an auras deck.

I am working on a similar deck. I am thinking of adding a few enchant lands, such as the zendikons or spreading seas. Will definitely add Spreading seas for sideboard, The zendikons add creatures and allow Aura Gnarlid to come in with an automated boost. Also I have in mind open the vaults and sovereign of lost alara. 5/5 unblockable on turn 4 anyone? and then creature enchants to cast on turn 4 for the first attack. The problem I am having is the auras to keep. I was also thinking of adding open the vaults. All those auras that get beat from your blockers coming back onto a lone Kor Spiritdancer or aura gnarlid for the win? then again any auras for defense can limit the use.

I am also considering lifelink for the life and a more aggressive play. I really like aura finesse for the above mention. Finally as far as dual lands or fetch lands. if I use the zendi's I will use harrow and fetch lands for land accelaration. Puting the zendikons on the sacrificed land means I get to keep it and use it again. Chump blocker is gonna die, after blockers are declared and before combat is put on stack, sac the land for another land, put the new land on field and the sac land in hand. (I think this works, might need confirmation.) When I get mine put together, I'll come back and post and we can compare.

try wrath of god-esque cards to destroy all creatures but your own. The board will be wide open for your attack.
