Deck discussion for Draw more cards

like the idea but what is your opponent is a deck that anyways uses his or her whole hand in about 3 turns

I'm adding some silence and render silence, but i will need white
with those card, he wont be able to cast on his turn, so his hand will be even bigger

Hey look! Second opinion ;)
Alright. If you want to do major draw, I suggest mono blue. I have a draw deck that is flipping awesome. Maybe check it out, edit it, probably add some Counterspells or something.

Ah yes, he raises a good point. You benefit from having extra cards in your hand right? well what better cards to have than the ones you play at the last minute?

i think your reading the rack wrong They only lose life if they have fewer than 3 cards in their hand

Thanks I was reading it wrong, there was a card i found doing the oposite but it wasn't modern

The Rack would not hurt them at all.
Throw Elite Arcanist in there?

why would i need a creature 1/1 in CMC 4 to imprint a spell while I have 15 or more cardin hand to cast

Haha. I guess you have a point. Card recycle with Elixir of Immortality?

Maybe for the silence, but I need a win condition in this deck now that i removed the rack

Your win condition can be super overpowered creatures and card advantage. I think you should be careful with giving your opponent card advantage though. They may have a hand size limit but they might be able to lose there hand by turn 4. I like Divination. I'm sure there is a better draw card for modern but you get the idea.

grimoir of the undead will do the trick, with my oponent's graveyard full of cards and my hand full so i can discard to put a counter

Just going to throw this on the table, but IF you did splash black. I would certainly look in to Soul Ransom.

technically i want to prevent my oponent from casting while he has tons of card early game, then late game, i get a few big creature out that can block

Soul Ransom is a bad pick since my oponent is going to draw 3-4 card a turn, he doesn't care about discarding 2 card to get his creature back an i lost 4 mana in the process

You lost 4 mana but got a card gap of 4, Don't forget that you draw two cards as well. So you could easily benefit from the discard but your entire deck can benefit from the draw aspect. Your opponent really can't win, especially since you'll end up with the stronger creatures. It is a difficult card to play though. You really have to know what your opponent is thinking. Of course that still doesn't change the fact you don't have any swamps XD

I do play that card in my discard deck, it works well when my oponent do not have the 2 card to discard.
In this deck, I'm not sure having 2 additional card would do much for me since I know i oponent will discard, otherwise he will discard at the end of his turn

Wait isn't this whole deck about having a large hand to power up your creature? Don't think of it as a way to steal creatures. I mean ya if they're that stupid then fine. Think of it as a way to draw two cards and make your opponent lose two cards. In addition to the benefit of having a larger hand( Psychosis Crawler, Overbeing of Myth) you also make your opponent lose theirs. That doesn't mean that you can play this card and just expect to win, but it would help provided you have a plan. Especially against combo decks considering they need every card they can get to set of their combos. And even if they discard at the end of their turn that means less cards to play on yours. ;-)

maybe, but it's less likely to hurt them since they draw so many card and chose which one they discard
If my goal is to draw 2 card, there is cheaper ways in CMC
unless I gain control and before he can react, I sacrifice his creature for a draw effect

but I dont think I will add black until I give it a try
