Deck Description

Tinkering with the idea of a U/R Legacy deck in recent light of Young Pyromancer.

Focuses on cheap spells to set up your draws for miracles and hitting fast with Delver, Pyromancer, and Slumbering Dragon.

How to Play

The way I like to play it is to get out Delver and Young Pyromancer as soon as possible to maximize their potential. Once you've done that you can start working on fixing your draw steps to hit those "miracles" (not very miraculous when you know its coming :P ) for a steady control/burn game.

Try to use the Browbeat's later in the game so that your opponent lets you draw cards rather than take the life, this deck needs a hand full of cards to effectively close out the game.

Ral Zarek is great for this deck with his +1 and -2, but most of all he offers a major distraction (like all planeswalkers) while you keep up the burn. I wouldn't waste resources protecting him unless your in a slow matchup and can ready him for the ultimate. This deck is too fast to waste any time protecting your assets unless they can really end the game.

Deck discussion for Izzet Nonsense (U/R Legacy)

It looks you actually tried something very badass...
But if you really want to customise it, I would start of from something cheap and simple.
-How about Goblin Electromancer? If you would do that, you would drop off Lightning Bolts and replace them with Searing Spears, lowering the deck value...

I was considering Goblin Electromancer for a while, but putting in 4 of them would take up the space of 4 instants/sorceries that furthermore lower the effectiveness of Delver, YP, and Lavamancer. Plus Electromancer wouldn't really mingle well with the rest of them since they are all one drops.

You are right.
How about Guttersnipe?

Wow I completely forgot about Guttersnipe! Should work really well if I take out Lavamancer and put two Guttersnipes in, will round out the mana curve really well too
