This is a deck my friend built a while back. It revolves around gaining tons of life and preventing damage to basicly everything. Once he sufficiently impresses my opponent with his 500 somthing life while preventing almost all attacks without blocking (Battletide Alchemist), he gives Ajani's avatar shadow with Spirit en-Dal and attacks for almost certain win.

Celestial Mantle + Felidar Soverign + a little help from Spirit En Dal would go well in this deck also. Almost too easy though...

I definitley agree with felidar soverign. I was playing a guy with my elf deck a week ago and he got up to 60 life. Since he didn't have a card like that, I was able to beat him fairly easily.
